Jamshedpur, May 5: Loyola School, Jamshedpur, hosted a special assembly today to felicitate one of its brightest stars, Shambhavi Jaiswal, who has emerged as the National Topper in the ICSE 2024-25 examinations with an average of 100%, a truly rare and remarkable achievement.
The event began with a warm welcome extended to Shambhavi Jaiswal and her proud parents, Dr. Abhishek Jaiswal, radiologist at Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital and Dr. Ojaswi Shankar, a gynaecologist at Tata Manipal Hospital. She is currently pursuing the science stream at DAV and aspires to become a computer science engineer, aiming to serve the nation through innovation and integrity.
In her heartfelt address, Shambhavi credited her success to her mother, her dedicated teachers and above all, her strong sense of self-belief. Her achievements were formally recognized as Father Rector felicitated her with a token of appreciation and Father Principal handed over a memento. Her proud parents were also welcomed and honoured with saplings.Speaking at the occasion, Father Principal expressed that Shambhavi has not only topped the nation but also set a benchmark in academic excellence and humility. She is a role model for every Loyolean.
The ceremony also included the distribution of medals and certificates to other meritorious students of the school. Winners of the Maths and Science Olympiads, the Intraschool Debate Competitions for Standards IX and X and achievers in various co-curricular activities held recently were recognized and honoured.
The morning ended on a high note with an address by Father Principal, who urged students to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity, reminding them that Success is not a destination but a journey shaped by perseverance and purpose.With Shambhavi’s historic achievement, Loyola School once again reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing excellence and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.
