Indian prime minister Narendra Modi greeted everyone on X (formerly Twitter) with a new year note wishing prosperity, peace and health for all.
“Wishing everyone a splendid 2024! May this year bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all,” Modi wrote on Monday, the first day of 2024.
As India gears up for general elections in summer this year, Modi will face the decision of Indians on his style of governance and whether he actually made any difference.
