Ranchi, Nov 2: Emphasizing that difficult circumstances cannot hinder progress if backed by determination and hard work, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Monday interacted with school students at Lok Bhavan, encouraging them to pursue their education with confidence and clear their doubts through active curiosity.

Addressing students from Ganga Prasad Budhiya Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir and Shri Shiv Narayan Marwari Kanya Madhya Vidyalaya, the Governor shared personal anecdotes from his childhood to inspire the young audience.

Relating his own life’s journey, Gangwar emotionally recalled losing his father when he was just one year old. He shared how his mother raised him and ensured his education under challenging conditions, pointing out that coming from a humble background is never a barrier to achieving success. He urged the children to appreciate their educational opportunities and commended local community efforts in expanding access to schooling.

To reinforce his message of perseverance, the Governor highlighted the life journey of President Droupadi Murmu, describing her as a powerful testament to how talent, unwavering willpower, and hard work can elevate someone from a modest background to the highest office in the country. He advised the students never to restrict their dreams and to approach their studies without fear or hesitation, encouraging them to ask questions whenever they encounter difficult subjects.

“Curiosity and the desire to learn strengthen knowledge,” the Governor noted, urging the students to become responsible and conscientious citizens.

During the interaction, Gangwar also spoke to the children about the botanical diversity of the Lok Bhavan garden, pointing out unique plant species such as the Kalpataru and Rudraksh. Following the interactive session, the visiting students were taken on a guided tour of the Lok Bhavan premises and its gardens.
