Ramgarh, Sept 17: Central Coalfields Limited’s (CCL) Argada Area has expanded its community-focused initiatives by launching a series of projects under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, aimed at improving public facilities and promoting healthier lifestyles in the surrounding areas.
As part of the initiative, the foundation stone for a community building at Hesalong was laid jointly by Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Manish Jaiswal and Mandu MLA Nirmal Mahto, popularly known as Tiwari Mahto, on Wednesday.
The proposed facility is expected to provide residents with a dedicated space for community meetings, social programmes and other public activities.
In another part of the CSR initiative, CCL inaugurated open-air gym facilities at Giddi ‘A’, Giddi ‘C’ and the community park near the General Manager’s office.The fitness facilities have been established to encourage residents to exercise regularly and adopt healthier lifestyles.
The open gyms provide publicly accessible spaces where people can engage in physical activities using outdoor fitness equipment.
CCL Argada Area General Manager Satyajit Kumar, Staff Officer (Human Resources) Rajiv Kumar and Staff Officer (Civil) Nasir Tauheed, along with other senior officials and local representatives, attended the programmes.
The company said the projects are intended to strengthen community infrastructure and improve access to facilities that support social activities and physical well-being.
The CSR initiatives form part of CCL’s efforts to contribute to the development and welfare of communities located around its operational areas, while promoting healthier and cleaner surroundings.
