HDFC Bank opens third back office in Jharkhand, eyes stronger operations and youth employment

Ranchi, Sep 14: HDFC Bank on Sunday inaugurated its third back office in Jharkhand at Harmu in Ranchi, marking a significant expansion of its operational presence in the state.

Jharkhand Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the facility located at Panchwati Tower on Harmu Road.

Senior bank officials, including Kumar Abhishek, Regional Head – Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, and Nitesh Narayan Chaudhary, Zonal Head, were present at the inauguration along with other officials.

The new back office is expected to strengthen the bank’s operational capabilities and support the delivery of better and seamless services to customers. It is also aimed at supporting the expansion of banking services and giving further momentum to financial activities in Jharkhand.

Addressing the gathering, Kishore said the inauguration of HDFC Bank’s third back office in the state was an important step towards expanding banking services and accelerating financial activities.

“This will help provide better and more accessible banking facilities to the people and businesses of Jharkhand,” he said.

The minister also highlighted the employment potential associated with the expansion of such institutions, saying it would create new employment and career opportunities for the state’s youth.

He congratulated HDFC Bank’s officials and its entire team on the inauguration of the new facility and extended his best wishes to the bank.

Abhishek described the inauguration as a “significant achievement” for HDFC Bank in Jharkhand.

“The new back office will not only strengthen our operational capabilities but also provide meaningful employment opportunities for the youth of the state,” he said.

The launch marks another step in HDFC Bank’s efforts to expand its operational infrastructure and banking services in Jharkhand.
