Ranchi, September 10: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) on Thursday launched two digital platforms aimed at making employee welfare services more accessible, transparent and efficient, including an online system for processing medical claims of retired employees.
CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh formally launched the CPRMSE/NE 2.0 Portal and Online Dependent Employment Portal at the Manthan Auditorium at CCL headquarters here.
The CPRMSE/NE 2.0 Portal enables retired coal employees to submit medical claims and supporting documents online, track their status and respond digitally to observations, reducing the need for physical visits to offices.
The portal facilitates electronic movement of claims among the PRB, CMS/Medical and Finance departments, besides providing digital record management, audit trails and SMS/mobile alerts.
The Online Dependent Employment Portal allows dependents or claimants of employees who died during service to submit and track proposals related to employment or monetary compensation. SMS and email notifications will keep beneficiaries informed about deficiencies, pending actions and various stages of processing.
Both platforms have been developed completely in-house by CCL’s System Department in coordination with the concerned functional departments.
“It is a matter of pride that both platforms have been developed in-house by CCL’s own System Department in close coordination with the concerned functional departments,” Singh said.
He stressed the need to leverage technology to make employee welfare services more accessible, transparent and efficient.
The launch marks a shift from conventional file-based procedures towards paperless, time-bound and centrally monitored service delivery. The digital initiatives are expected to improve accessibility for beneficiaries, strengthen accountability and minimise delays in welfare-related services.
Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra joined the programme through video conferencing, while Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (P&P) Anup Hanjura, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar and other senior officials were present.
