Ranchi, Aug 24: Meta has launched Meta Startup School, a three-month programme aimed at helping early-stage consumer brands in India strengthen their digital marketing capabilities and scale their businesses.

The first cohort, beginning September 1, will support 200 startups across funding stages. The programme will combine structured platform education, hands-on guidance, agency consultations and engagement with venture capital firms and industry experts.

Participating startups will receive three months of complimentary consultation from agency partners, without retainer fees, to help them develop growth and advertising strategies and move from experimentation towards scale.

The programme will also provide training on Meta’s advertising and AI-powered tools, with webinars covering solutions designed to support customer acquisition, campaign effectiveness and business performance.

Fireside Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners and V3 Ventures will participate in the first cohort, with more venture capital firms expected to join as the programme expands.

Gaurav Jeet Singh, Director, Agencies and VC Partnerships, Meta India, said early-stage startups need the right tools, knowledge and guidance to navigate a critical phase of their growth.

Meta Startup School will also give participating businesses opportunities to interact with venture capitalists, industry specialists and other startups, while sharing their experiences and demonstrating how they apply the programme’s learnings.

The programme is targeted at consumer brands that are beginning to leverage Meta’s platforms to scale revenue. Eligible businesses should not be directly managed by Meta or currently working with an agency.

The first three-month cohort will culminate in a demo day, bringing startups together with venture capital firms, direct-to-consumer founders and other ecosystem stakeholders.

Meta said the initiative is part of its broader effort to support India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by helping emerging businesses build the digital capabilities required for sustainable and scalable growth.
