Dumka, July 16 : Sidho Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU), Dumka, on Wednesday declared the results of the Undergraduate (UG) Semester-I Examination 2025 for the 2025–29 academic session. The overall pass percentage stood at 42.56 per cent, with 20,986 students clearing the examination out of a total 49,314 candidates who appeared.
According to the university, the Commerce and Management Faculty recorded the best performance among all streams. Of the 868 students who appeared from the faculty, 66.01 per cent were declared successful.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty, which had the highest number of examinees, saw 43,818 students appear for the examination, with 41.80 per cent passing. In the Natural and Physical Sciences Faculty, 44.52 per cent of the 3,697 candidates cleared the examination.
Meanwhile, the Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Applications Faculty registered a pass percentage of 48.23 per cent, with 931 students appearing in the examination.
The university’s Controller of Examinations said the results of the UG Semester-I Examination 2025 have been officially published. Students can access their scorecards by visiting the university’s designated online result portal.
The declaration of the results marks an important academic milestone for first-semester undergraduate students enrolled under the 2025–29 session. University officials advised students to carefully verify their results and contact the examination department in case of any discrepancies.
