Guwahati, Jan 6: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has postponed the release of the GATE 2026 admit card. Originally scheduled for January 2, the hall ticket will now be made available at a later date on the official GATE website.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The exam will be held in two sessions — a forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and an afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. GATE 2026 will cover 30 test papers, with candidates permitted to appear in one or up to two papers.

Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets using their enrollment ID and password once the official release is announced.
