New Delhi, January 6: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026, one of India’s leading management entrance examinations, was conducted successfully on Saturday across the country, organisers said.
The exam was held in a single shift from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. across 121 cities and 288 test centres nationwide, with no technical or operational disruptions reported.
XAT 2026 was administered simultaneously across all centres using a common question paper, a move aimed at ensuring uniformity, transparency and fairness in the testing process.
To oversee the examination, a centralized command centre was set up at XLRI – Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur, which enabled real-time monitoring and coordination of activities at test centres across India. Organisers said around 135,000 candidates registered for the examination this year, underlining its continued popularity among management aspirants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
XAT is widely regarded as one of India’s most trusted gateways to admission into premier management institutions. Details regarding XAT 2026 scorecards and percentile rankings will be announced shortly on the official examination website, https://xatonline.in/.
