Jamshedpur, Sep 27: Jharkhand Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore on Saturday met the families of Vanshika Khandelwal, Naman Gupta and Sarthak Agrawal, who died in a recent tragic road accident, and expressed his condolences.
Kishore met Vanshika’s father Pankaj Khandelwal, Naman’s father Rajiv Gupta and Sarthak’s father Chetan Agrawal. He paid tribute to the deceased and expressed solidarity with their bereaved families.
“It was extremely painful to see children lose their lives so tragically at such a young age. No words could compensate for such an irreparable loss,” Kishore said.
The minister said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Congress workers across the country were deeply distressed by the incident and conveyed their condolences to the families.
He also said the Chief Minister and the entire Jharkhand government were deeply saddened by the tragedy.
“The Jharkhand government stands with the bereaved families in this hour of grief and will continue to extend all possible support and sensitivity to the affected families,” Kishore said.
He prayed for strength and patience for the families to cope with the loss.
East Singhbhum Congress district president Parvinder Singh, district organisational general secretary Kaushal Pradhan, vice-presidents Ashutosh Singh and Rajkishore Yadav, secretaries Firoz Khan and Hareram Tudu, Gurdeep Singh and other Congress workers were present on the occasion.
