Ranchi, Sept 17 : Efforts are underway to strengthen Jharkhand’s startup ecosystem by creating greater opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs to connect with investors, mentors and industry experts.

As part of the initiative, the Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO) organised the Tally Startup Collective–Ranchi Chapter, bringing together more than 75 startup founders.

The programme provided entrepreneurs with a platform to present their business ideas, interact with investors and seek guidance on areas such as fundraising, business expansion and developing effective investor pitches.

Five selected startups were also recognised during the event and given an opportunity to interact directly with investors.

JIIDCO General Manager Sanjay Kumar Sahu and Chief Enabler Shubham Raj highlighted the importance of institutional support, industry linkages and a strong entrepreneurial network in promoting innovation-driven businesses in the state.

The programme also focused on helping founders understand investor expectations, prepare their ventures for funding and develop long-term relationships within the startup and investment ecosystem.

Tally Solutions Assistant General Manager Gautam Chakraborty shared insights on technology and business solutions relevant to startups.

Sessions on investment and funding featured A Square Capital Managing Director Chahat Agrawal, VC Grid’s Kumar Dheeraj and Mission Blue Foundation’s Pankaj Soni, who interacted with founders and shared their experiences from the investment and entrepreneurship sectors.

The organisers said the initiative aims to create stronger connections between Jharkhand’s startup community and the wider investment and industry ecosystem, providing emerging businesses with greater exposure and opportunities for growth.

The participation of more than 75 founders and direct investor interactions with selected startups marked an effort to build a more connected platform for entrepreneurship and innovation in Jharkhand.
