Ranchi, Sept 24: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday visited the Ranchi residence of state minister Deepika Pandey Singh following the death of her daughter, Trisha Singh.Soren paid his respects to Trisha Singh and placed a floral wreath on her mortal remains.
He also met the bereaved family and conveyed his condolences to the minister and her relatives.The chief minister said the loss of a child was an extremely painful experience for any parent.
He prayed for peace for the departed soul and for strength and courage for the family to cope with the tragedy.MLA Kalpana Soren also paid tribute to Trisha Singh and expressed her condolences to the family.
Several state ministers, Rajya Sabha members, MLAs, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, senior government officials and other public representatives were also present at the residence to pay their respects.
The visit took place amid a sombre atmosphere as colleagues, officials and public representatives gathered to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
