Jharkhand resident commissioner, MHA security officer discuss pass arrangements in Delhi

Ranchi, Oct 1: Jharkhand Resident Commissioner Arva Rajkamal held a meeting with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Chief Security Officer Anil Kumar Chaturvedi at Jharkhand Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss administrative and security-related arrangements for state government officials and authorised vehicles.

The discussions primarily focused on the issuance and renewal of entry and vehicle passes for Jharkhand government officials, employees and authorised vehicles in Delhi.

The officials also considered increasing the number of passes whenever required, while ensuring compliance with existing security protocols.The meeting also covered issues concerning the convenience and work-related requirements of Jharkhand government personnel posted in the national capital.

Emphasis was placed on improving coordination with the concerned authorities so that official activities can be carried out smoothly.Rajkamal said effective coordination between the relevant departments was necessary to streamline the process of issuing and renewing passes while maintaining prescribed security requirements.

The meeting also discussed maintaining regular communication with senior officials and employees from Jharkhand working in Central and state government offices in Delhi, as well as Jharkhand residents living in the national capital.

Officials discussed coordinating with relevant departments to address issues faced by these groups and facilitate timely resolution of administrative matters.

The two sides also deliberated on strengthening coordination between the Central Government ministries and departments and the Jharkhand Government to ensure the timely processing of matters related to the state.

The meeting was aimed at improving administrative coordination and facilitating the functioning of Jharkhand Government offices and personnel in New Delhi while adhering to established security procedures.
