Ranchi, September 11: The Election Committee of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) on Friday reviewed preparations for the federation’s 2026-27 session elections, scheduled to be held on September 13.
The committee inspected arrangements at Marwari Bhawan on Harmu Road, the polling venue, and briefed CA and CS institute students and other personnel deployed for election duty about the voting process and their responsibilities.
The review covered key aspects including voter entry, voting procedures, verification of required documents and arrangements for counting of votes. The committee said steps had been taken to ensure that polling is conducted in an orderly and transparent manner.
Election Committee Chairman Anchal Kinger said all preparations had been completed according to the scheduled programme.
“Necessary arrangements have been ensured to conduct the polling process in an orderly and transparent manner,” Kinger said.
Election Committee Co-Chairman Pawan Sharma said all personnel associated with the polling arrangements had been provided with necessary information regarding their responsibilities and the election procedure.
“Strict discipline and adherence to the prescribed procedures will be ensured at the polling venue,” Sharma said.
He also appealed to voters to reach the polling venue within the stipulated time and exercise their franchise peacefully and in an orderly manner.
Polling for the election of 21 Executive Committee Members and three Divisional Regional Vice-Presidents will be held from 9 am to 5 pm on September 13 at Marwari Bhawan, Harmu Road, Ranchi.
