Ranchi, September 10: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Jharkhand Government Mini Tool Room & Training Centre (JGMTRTC), Ranchi, to provide residential skill development training to 100 youths from five districts of the state.
The agreement was signed on September 9 at CMPDI headquarters in Ranchi by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR/CSR), CMPDI, and Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, JGMTRTC.
Under the initiative, youths will receive training in Tool & Die Maker and Solar Panel Installation & Maintenance under Junior Technician trades during the financial year 2026-27.
The programme will cover beneficiaries from Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad and Latehar districts, with a particular focus on underprivileged, unemployed and underemployed youth.
Special emphasis will be placed on candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwH and Women (EWS) categories, the company said.
The CSR initiative aims to equip participants with industry-oriented technical skills, thereby enhancing their employability and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, self-reliance and economic empowerment.
The initiative is part of CMPDI’s efforts towards inclusive development and skill enhancement, with a focus on creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for youth from underprivileged sections of society.
